Mindfulness at Imperial College Chaplaincy

We are a group of Mindfulness meditators with the aim of sharing a group session and practice together. We are alumni of the Mindfulness courses taught at the Chaplaincy or regulars of the Lunchtime sessions.

We decide what to do in each session on the spot, generally we do some mindfulness movements first and then we chose to listen to a recording or use timer. Some of us can offer to guide a session, too. We leave some space at the end in case we feel like sharing information and experiences.

Suitable for anyone who has done any kind of meditation before. For absolute beginners, we recommend attending a bit earlier to the lunchtime sessions and talk to Hogetsu. If you can’t make it to a Tuesday lunchtime beginners’ session, please contact Esther to arrange meeting a bit earlier on the Wednesday evening (about 17:45h).

This group intends to lead to the constitution of a Mindfulness society at Imperial College Union. Please contact Esther if you would be interested in taking part of it.
